Summer Camp JUNE 17-JULY 12, 2024

Holiday Closure: Camp is closed July 19th and the 4th of July. (We apologize for the inconvenience. It’s a holiday, and LAUSD does not open the schools on these days.)

HAPPINESS is seeing the smile on a child’s face as they come to Season Explorers

We’re SEASON EXPLORERS, an enrichment program that, throughout structured exploration, makes our campers try new things, learn new skills, develop independent self-confidence, work in teams, and enhance new social skills that will last a lifetime to create great memories.
We are a good old-fashioned camp where it is OK to get dirty, play tag, learn about farm animals, and much more … our goal is to avoid electronics, reinforce communication and independence, and make new friends.

During the Summer break, campers will be having lots of fun doing arts and crafts, sports, gardening, learning about farm animals, and much more. Our goal is to have a safe and fun environment for all campers. We will divide campers by their age groups. The ages for campers at our program are 4 1/2 if potty trained to 11 years old; our ratio is ten campers per 1 coach with a Jr coach. (Jr coaches are middle or high schoolers that are learning to be a coach).

Our Location: Colfax Charter, 4935 Colfax Ave, Valley Village CA 91601

NEW ENTRANCE: On Addison Street next to the Kindergarten/parking lot

Yes!! Let's start the summer in style!! Come celebrate with us or diversity and our cool talents among old and new friends. Some of us are good at dancing; others sing or do magic, create poetry or interpret a character, play an instrument, or make us laugh by doing some stand-up comedy or showing us whatever you think you are good at . We want our campers to express themselves. The coaches will help and guide them in elaborating some actions. We will do a presentation on the last day of the week. So, come on and show us your skills. We know you have talent !!

Sports Competition Week

June 24th to June 28th (5-day week)
This week is very popular at our program even for the non-athletic campers because it is "TEAM WORK" week. We divide the campers in four groups (Countries), and each country will have campers for all ages so they can compete with the other Countries - It is a super duper fun week, coaches and campers are really united and cheering for each other as they play soccer matches, do relay races, or individual races, obstacle courses, and, of course an everyday medal ceremony. Campers will be receiving medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Everyone goes home with something, and that week we have a special guest... FOAMALICIOUS - a foam party to celebrate everyone's effort and participation in our sports competition week. Sign up; medals are waiting for you !!

Harry Potter Week

July 1st to July 5th (4-day week, we're closed July 4th)
It is just a 4 day week but with a lot of magic in the air, especially when we get together with some wizard friends and dress up, find out in which house you belong, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw. Learn how to play Quidditch, make wands, and do spells with Mrs. Olivander. Make potions and much more … Don't miss this incredible week; come have a luncheon with the other wizards on the last day of that week. You will make memories that will last forever … see you at the 9 3/4 Platform.
